I wasn't really planning on any more blog posts until after the dust settles on Election Day, but thanks to The Downballot providing a handy spreadsheet with the 3rd Quarter FEC campaign finance report data, I've whipped up this one to help folks figure out which Democrats running for U.S. House are the best bets for making one final donation to.
The spreadsheet below includes all 50 candidates listed on my U.S. House fundraising page. All of them are considered either true tossup races or at least competitive according to Cook Political Report.
Inistead of looking at how much each candidate has raised, I'm looking purely at how much Cash On Hand they had as of the end of September, then comparing that against how much CoH their Republican opponent had.
The spreadsheet is sorted by ratio between the two, with the races where the Republican nominee has the highest cash advantage over the Democrat at the top.
As you can see, Peter Barca in WI-01 and Lucia Baez-Geller in FL-27 are facing the steepest climbs; their GOP opponents have 32.4x and 17.5x as much cash on hand as they do respectively. After that, there's another 14 races where the GOP candidate hast at least a 50% cash advantage or greater.
These are the races where a last-minute cash infusion is likely needed the most.
